Nice little hideaway. Not sure what others are talking about with creepiness or darkness, it's perfectly fine! Much easier drive getting into the site if you minimize time on the forest road.
Don't be discouraged of the dark. This place is awesome. Rolled in well past dark. It was a long drive up the mountain. The sign for the park is pretty creepy in the dark, so is the drive back to the campsite. We were the only people there. It was quiet and pitch black! The next morning, we explored. Bathrooms available. We went further up the mountain in the morning. Cool drive. Cows walking around, loved it! Will be back.

Loved it, it was.clean had trash cans and toilets... so quiet, great resting point.... I will stop here again. It's really not so far off the hiway .. and yes you pass cows. Watch for your turns one is pretty sharp.... there are land owners walking and riding horses ... watch out for them please

Awful!! Never saw the campground, had to turn around because of the creepiness of the place at night.
